The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Result 2025 on its website ssc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their results and download the merit list and scorecards using their login credentials.
The SSC Stenographer exam is conducted each year to recruit eligible candidates for stenographer posts in various ministries, departments, and organisations under the Government of India.

To download the result and scorecard, follow the steps given below:
- Go to the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in
- Click on the “Results” tab available on the homepage
- Look for the link titled “Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2025 – Result & Scorecard”
- Click on the link and enter your registration number and password
- Your result and scorecard will be displayed on the screen
- Download and save it for future use
What Happens Next?
Candidates who have been shortlisted will now be required to appear for the Skill Test in Stenography, which is the next phase of the recruitment process. This test checks a candidate’s shorthand and transcription skills, both essential for stenographer roles.
While the skill test is qualifying in nature, it plays an important role in the final selection. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in the written exam and the skill test. Only those who pass both stages will be eligible for appointment to Grade C or D stenographer posts.
