The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has started the registration process for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Super Specialty (NEET SS) 2025. The application window opened at 3 PM on November 5, 2025. Candidates seeking admission to Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Master of Chirurgiae (MCh), and other super specialty programmes can now apply online through the official website natboard.edu.in.
NEET SS 2025 Registration Dates
The last date to submit the NEET SS 2025 application form is November 25, 2025 (till 11:55 PM). The computer-based examination will take place on December 26 and 27, 2025, across various centres in India.
The exam dates were revised twice before being finalised. Initially scheduled for November 6 and 7, they were first postponed to December 27 and 28, and then confirmed for December 26 and 27. The revision came after repeated requests from candidates seeking more clarity on the exam schedule.
How to Apply for NEET SS 2025
Candidates can follow the steps below to register for the exam:
- Visit the official website natboard.edu.in.
- Click on the ‘NEET SS 2025 Registration’ link on the homepage.
- Create a new user account by entering your name, date of birth, nationality, email ID, and mobile number.
- Log in using your credentials and fill in the application form with personal and academic details.
- Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and thumb impression as per the given specifications.
- Pay the application fee using online payment options.
- Review the form carefully before submitting it.
- Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
NEET SS 2025 Exam Pattern
NBEMS has revised the NEET SS exam pattern this year. The question paper will have three sections, A, B, and C, each containing 50 multiple choice questions. Candidates will get 50 minutes to answer each section.
Separate question paper groups will be available for Medical Oncology and Critical Care Medicine. Postgraduate degree holders in Traumatology and Surgery are also eligible to appear for the exam.
