The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced that registrations for Vaikunta Dwara darshan tickets for the first three days, December 30, December 31, 2025, and January 1, 2026, will open on Thursday through the electronic dip (e-dip) system.
TTD Chairman B R Naidu said on Wednesday that preparations are in full swing for the 10-day Vaikunta Dwara darshan, which will be held from December 30 to January 8. The temple body said its main focus this year is to ensure that the maximum number of common devotees get darshan with minimum inconvenience.
E-dip registrations begin Thursday
Naidu said all tickets for the first three days, considered the most crowded during Vaikunta Ekadasi festivities, will be allotted only through the e-dip system. This digital lottery ensures equal opportunity for all devotees, regardless of when they register.
Registrations will open on Thursday, and TTD will announce the e-dip allotment results on December 2. Only devotees who receive a confirmed ticket in the e-dip will be allowed darshan on these three days.
Focus on common devotees
In a major change, TTD has cancelled all privilege darshans, including VIP and recommendation darshans, for the first three days. This decision was taken to ensure a smooth darshan experience for ordinary devotees, TOI reported.
He also emphasised that TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal and Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary held several rounds of discussions with stakeholders to finalise a darshan plan that reduces crowding and maximises public access.
Out of the total 182 hours of Vaikunta Dwara darshan available during the 10-day period, TTD has allotted more than 164 hours exclusively for common devotees.
Darshan arrangements from January 2 to 8
From January 2 onwards, the system will change. TTD will release 15,000 special entry darshan (Rs 300) tickets and around 1,000 Srivani VIP darshan tickets online each day.
Sarva Darshan (free darshan without tokens) will also resume on January 2, allowing devotees to directly reach Tirumala for Vaikunta Dwara darshan until January 8.
Additionally, TTD has reserved a quota of 5,000 tickets for residents of Tirumala and Tirupati. These tickets will be available online from January 6 to 8 on a first-come, first-served basis.
‘Devotees can plan visits across 10 days’
The TTD chairman urged devotees not to worry if they fail to secure e-dip tickets for the first three days. “The Vaikunta Dwaram will remain open for 10 days. Devotees who do not get tickets in the e-dip can plan their pilgrimage on any of the remaining seven days,” Naidu said.
TTD officials have assured that all arrangements, including crowd management, queue systems, and facilities, are being strengthened to ensure a smooth and safe darshan experience during the Vaikunta Dwara festival.
