BMW car accident in Delhi: Accused Gaganpreet Kaur tests negative for alcohol

The police have confirmed that Gaganpreet has been booked under sections of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and for tampering with evidence after the accident.

Gaganpreet Kaur, the woman accused in the Delhi BMW crash case, has tested negative for alcohol, which means she was not drunk at the time of the accident, News18 reported.

She was arrested for allegedly driving the car that hit a two-wheeler in Delhi’s Dhaula Kuan area on Sunday, killing the rider, a Finance Ministry official. A Delhi court later sent her to two days of judicial custody.

Gaganpreet Kaur lives in Gurugram with her husband, Parikshit Makkar. At the time of the crash, both of them, their two children, and a maid were inside the BMW. Her husband was injured but discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.

The incident took place on September 14 around 2 pm. According to police, the BMW, allegedly driven by Gaganpreet, rammed into a motorcycle.
