Hyundai Aura gets affordable AMT variant priced at Rs 8,07,700

Hyundai Motor India has added an affordable AMT variant to the Aura line-up, the Aura S AMT, priced at Rs 8,07,700 (ex-showroom). This variant comes at a premium of Rs 69,500 over the Aura S MT, which is available for Rs 7,38,200 (ex-showroom).

The Aura S AMT gets noteworthy features like LED DRLs, electrically-foldable ORVMs with turn indicators, six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system – highline, electronic stability control and hill start assist control.

The vehicle employs a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which generates 83 PS of maximum power and 113.8 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. The Aura is also available in CNG option (69 PS and 95.2 Nm) with a 5-speed MT.

Based in the compact sedan segment, the Hyundai Aura takes on the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor.
