The state deployed 500 health teams in the flood-affected areas of Yavatmal, Akola, Raigad, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Jalgaon. The public health department said teams will look into health problems arising in flood-affected areas and relief camps. “We stocked medicines to provide immediate treatment for fever, diarrhoea, etc,” said a state note.
