A branch of the US Embassy in Israel was hit by an Iranian missile, prompting its closure on Monday, a top official confirmed, with the military conflict entering its fourth day.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee posted on X, reporting minor damage near a branch office after the “concussions of an Iranian missile” struck nearby.

"Our @usembassyjlm US Embassy in Israel & Consulate will officially remain closed today as shelter in place still in effect. Some minor damage from concussions of Iranian missile hits near Embassy Branch in @TelAviv but no injuries to US personnel," he posted on X.

The missile and drone exchanges between Israel and Iran continued through Sunday night into early Monday, marking the fourth consecutive day of hostilities.

The ongoing conflict has pushed the region closer to a prolonged crisis, with the death toll rising to at least 238 in Iran and 14 reported fatalities in Israel.
