1. East Bali

Eastern Bali is slower-paced and gives the feeling of the old Bali. Tirta Gangga Water Palace, with its fountains, koi ponds and gardens, is a quiet retreat, whereas the black sand beaches of Amed and the coral reefs make it ideal for snorkelling and viewing the sunrise.
