Comments and Reactions in Group Calls
Participants in group calls and video chats can now share thoughts instantly using live comments and reactions. These appear briefly on-screen, letting users respond with emojis or short messages whether to show appreciation, confirm details, or engage while muted. This feature is available for group calls and video chats with fewer than 1,000 participants, making conversations more dynamic and expressive.

Suggested Birthdays
Telegram now enables users to suggest birthdays when editing a contact’s info, making it easy to celebrate with thoughtful messages or Telegram gifts. Users can also add their own birthdays directly via Settings > Edit > Date of Birth.

Liquid Glass Interface for iOS 26
Telegram for iOS introduces an upgraded Liquid Glass interface aligned with Apple’s iOS 26 design. The bottom navigation bar, keyboard, and sticker panel now feature translucent elements and a refraction effect, creating a smoother, more immersive experience.

Improved Gift Interfaces
The gift-sending interface has been redesigned for simplicity, displaying all available gifts — including those from the Gift Marketplace — in a single list. Telegram has also introduced a time-based price reduction system for gift upgrades, making collectibles more accessible over time.

Threads and Streaming Responses for AI Bots
Telegram bots now support threaded conversations, allowing users to manage multiple topics in parallel. AI bots can also stream responses in real time, enhancing interactivity.

Bugs and Suggestions Mini App
The long-running Bug and Suggestion Platform — launched in 2020 — is now available as an official Telegram Mini App, enabling users to report issues or suggest new features directly within the app in just a few taps.
