To make things easier for you, we've compared the two phones in details.
Display & Build
Realme does offer a crisp 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with 1400 nits brightness and 93% screen-to-body ratio. In contrast, Redmi uses a slightly larger 6.9-inch FHD+ display with up to 144Hz refresh rate and 288Hz touch sampling—more responsive for gamers. .
Cameras
The Realme 15T boasts a rare 50MP front camera, which is ideal for selfie-focused buyers. But the rear setup is limited to just 50MP + 2MP. Redmi instead offers a 50MP AI dual camera with f/1.75 aperture, and while its front camera is a modest 8MP, it’s backed by features like AI Sky, AI Erase, and classic film filters, which matter more in real-world photography than raw megapixel count.
Battery & Charging
Both phones pack massive 7000mAh batteries. Redmi uses Si-C EV-grade tech, promising longer battery and it also supports 18W reverse charging.
Performance
The Realme 15T runs on MediaTek Dimensity 6400 MAX, built on a 6nm process with an octa-core CPU clocked up to 2.5GHz. Its GPU, the Mali-G57 MC2, is a proven performer in mid-range gaming but not particularly class-leading. On the other hand, the Redmi 15 5G brings the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 to the battle. While it’s still mid-range, its CPU architecture is more balanced: 2x Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.3GHz for heavy lifting, alongside 6x Cortex A55 cores at 1.95GHz for efficiency. In real-world use, this translates into smoother sustained performance, especially in multitasking, where the efficiency cores of the Snapdragon keep things cooler and more consistent. The GPU optimization on Qualcomm’s side also means better gaming stability across popular titles. So despite Realme’s higher clock ceiling, Redmi’s architecture and optimization give it the edge.
Durability & Other Features
Realme boasts IP66/IP68/IP69 protection, making it far more rugged than Redmi’s IP64. However, Redmi includes Dolby-certified speakers with 200% volume, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a lighter custom UI (HyperOS2), while Realme sticks with an in-display scanner and heavier software layer.
