In the energy sector, recent policy decisions aimed at expanding nuclear energy are expected to strengthen India’s renewable energy mix. The Prime Minister added that this will also support the country’s AI ambitions, as advanced computing requires reliable and scalable energy infrastructure.
Quantum computing was identified as another strategic priority, with mission-mode efforts underway to strengthen India’s digital capabilities and long-term competitiveness.
