Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has unveiled its latest midrange smartphone, the Oppo A6 5G, in its homeland. The handset packs a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chip, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phone is also IP69 rated and supports a microSD card for expanding the storage capacity.
Oppo A6 5G: Price, availability
The Oppo A6 5G has a starting price of CNY 1,599 (around Rs 20,000) in China for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The handset is also available in 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB variants. However, the price of these models is yet to be announced. However, the company has not revealed the prices of these two models. The handset is now available via Oppo's website in China in Blue Ocean Light, Velvet Gray, and Pink colour shades.

The Oppo A6 5G sports a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz and 1,400 nits peak brightness. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The handset is IP69 rated for dust and water resistance, and runs on Android 15-based ColorOS 15
For optics, the Oppo A6 5G comes with a dual-rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP ultrawide shooter alongside a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, the phone features a 16MP selfie camera. Both rear and front cameras support Full HD video recording at up to 60fps. Further, the device packs a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. It weighs about 185g.
