Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses are coming to Amazon India on 21 November, signalling how quickly AI-powered wearables are moving from niche gadgets to mainstream upgrades. The timing is no coincidence. According to Amazon, its premium wearables segment grew close to 40 percent during the Great Indian Festival this year, and searches for smart glasses alone jumped 4.6X year-on-year.
Meta Ray-Ban glasses: Availability
On Amazon India, the glasses will be available with same-day delivery in more than 20 cities, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune. They’ll also support no-cost EMI and a set of launch offers to make the entry point more accessible.
Amazon says the demand isn’t limited to the usual tech-heavy metros. According to Zeba Khan, director – consumer electronics, customers in tier-2 and tier-3 cities are equally keen to try hands-free, AI-infused wearables. She notes that people now want devices that add genuine utility to everyday routines rather than just sit on their wrist tracking basic fitness metrics.
The Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses lean heavily into that idea. They pack a 12MP ultra-wide camera, five microphones and open-ear speakers. Add Meta AI into the mix and the glasses become a hands-free assistant that can take photos, place calls, set reminders and provide information without users touching their phone. It’s the kind of discreet, ambient computing that feels like a natural step forward for wearables.
Amazon’s broader premium wearables catalogue now spans over 15 brands, from Apple and Samsung to Garmin, OnePlus and Amazfit. Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses slot neatly into that category, and Amazon is betting big on the momentum.
