Lava recently confirmed that its next budget smartphone, the Blaze Dragon 5G, will make its debut in the Indian market on July 25, following the recent launch of its Storm series. Now, ahead of its unveiling, the company has confirmed most of the phone's specifications. Moreover, an Amazon microsite has also confirmed its starting price. Lava had also teased that it would unveil the Blaze AMOLED 2 handset in July, although an exact date is still unknown.
Lava Blaze Dragon 5G: Expected price, specifications
According to a recent Amazon microsite, the Lava Blaze Dragon 5G will have a starting price of less than Rs 10,00, as a promotional poster teased the handset's starting price at Rs. X,999.’ Further, the company has also confirmed that the handset will be available in Golden Mist and Midnight Mist (Blue) colour options.
The Amazon microsite also reveals that the Lava Blaze Dragon 5G will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The device will come with a 6.74-inch HD+ 2.5D display with a 120Hz refresh rate and offer over 450 nits of peak brightness.
In terms of optics, the device will come with a dual camera setup with a primary rear camera of 50MP and an unknown secondary camera. Lava will equip the upcoming Blaze Dragon 5G handset with a 5,000mAh battery, with support for 18W wired charging. For security, it will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and will run Android 15 out of the box.
