Intel is bracing for another round of job cuts next month. According to a report from OregonLive, the chipmaker has informed its factory employees that layoffs will begin in mid-July and wrap up by the end of the month. While the company hasn’t revealed exactly how many jobs will be slashed, the internal memo confirms that changes are coming soon.

The impact isn't limited to the U.S. Reports from Chinese media suggest that Intel China may cut up to 20% of its staff, with some teams facing even deeper layoffs. Details are still unclear, but announcements are expected later this month.

The job cuts will also reportedly extend to Intel’s Kiryat Gat manufacturing site in Israel. CTech, an Israeli outlet, says middle management will be the main target there. While Intel has made several cuts across its Israeli operations in the past, the Kiryat Gat facility had been mostly spared—until now. The site employs around 4,000 people and is part of Intel Israel’s larger 9,300-strong workforce.
