Instagram is celebrating the 2024 Paris Olympics by making the Notes in gold colour on the platform. The feature appears to be a global rollout, however, certain keywords also trigger the colour change for Notes on the social media platform.

If you are unaware, Notes are a sort of sticky notes-like feature that users can add to their account and it appears at the top of the profile icon on the Direct Messages (DM) screen. Like Stories on Instagram, these notes automatically disappear after 24 hours of posting it. Also, users can use them for quick updates, and sharing a thought, among other things with their followers.

Gold Notes in Instagram is a part of the 2024 Paris Olympics where the Meta-owned platform has mentioned that the notes will turn gold if users add any keyword related to the Olympics in their note.

However, it is important to know that not all Notes turn into gold colour. Only specific keywords mentioned in the notes will turn the notes into golden colour.
