OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Atlas, a Chromium-based web browser with ChatGPT integrated into the browsing experience. Instead of switching between tabs or copying content into an AI window, Atlas allows the assistant to interact directly with webpages for summarization, task execution, analysis and writing help.

How to download OpenAI Atlas
1. Open any browser on a Mac and go to chatgpt.com/atlas
2. Download the installer file provided for macOS (.dmg format)
3. Open the downloaded file and move the Atlas app to the Applications folder
4. Launch Atlas from Applications and begin the setup process

Supported platforms
• Available now: macOS for Free, Plus, Pro and Go users, and for Business in beta depending on admin settings
• Coming soon: Windows, iOS and Android versions are in development and will roll out in future

Features of OpenAI Atlas
• ChatGPT Sidebar: Allows direct interaction with the webpage currently open, enabling summaries, comparisons and explanations without leaving the tab
