Google is all set to unveil its Pixel 10 series at an event on August 20, and the buzz has already begun, thanks to a new leak that gives us a sneak peek at the upcoming phone’s colours. According to official-looking renders, the Pixel 10 will be available in four shades: Obsidian, Indigo, Frost, and Limoncello.
While Obsidian (a deep black/gray tone) remains a staple, it’s the other two – Indigo and Limoncello – that are turning heads. Indigo is a bold royal blue, and Limoncello is a fresh, yellow-green colour that feels like a daring new direction for Google’s design team. Gone, however, is Porcelain, the soft white variant that Google usually offers.
Beyond colours, the Pixel 10 is also getting a hardware shake-up. This year’s model will feature a triple-camera setup – a first for the base Pixel model. You get a 48 MP main shooter, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 10.8 MP telephoto lens, borrowed from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. However, there’s chatter that Google may be slightly downgrading the quality of the main and ultrawide cameras to make room for the telephoto without increasing the price.
Under the hood, the Pixel 10 will be powered by Google’s next-gen Tensor G5 chip, keeping performance and AI features front and center. Pre-orders are expected to open on the day of the launch—August 20—with an official release slated for August 28.
Whether you're here for the new colours or the upgraded camera, the Pixel 10 seems to be shaping up as a bold refresh of Google’s smartphone lineup.
