Galaxy Buds 4 Pro leaked: Likely to get new design and upgraded features
Samsung’s next-generation earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, have surfaced through leaked One UI 8.5 firmware animations, giving the most detailed look yet at their upcoming design and features. The new model appears set to launch alongside the Galaxy S26 series, with the redesign marking one of the biggest visual shifts in Samsung’s earbuds lineup in years.
Festive accessibility With the festive season approaching, Samsung is focusing on making its products more accessible through affordability schemes. Babbar pointed to long-tenure EMIs, zero-down payment options, and bundled offers as key enablers for consumers to upgrade to premium Galaxy devices. “This season is not only about celebration but also about making technology more inclusive and reachable,” he said. He emphasized that Samsung’s aim is to democratize AI-powered features rather than restrict them to select devices or consumer groups.
Major new feature: Head Gestures One of the standout upgrades uncovered in the leaked firmware is a new Head Gestures feature. Code references indicate that users will be able to respond to calls or notifications by nodding or shaking their head. The feature also appears capable of dismissing alarms, stopping notification readouts, replying yes/no to an AI assistant and ending conversations without touching the phone. This functionality places the Buds 4 Pro in competition with Sony’s and Google’s gesture-controlled earbuds — but Samsung’s implementation seems broader in scope.
Additional features Animations also show support for features carried over from the Buds 3 Pro, including: 360-degree audio recording Adaptive Noise Control Find-your-phone integration Seamless pairing with tablets and smartphones
