Delta Force’s new season “Break” gets a release date: New maps, operator, weapons and more

Free-to-play AAA tactical shooter Delta Force is getting a new season called “Break” on July 9. The new season will drop for the PC version of the game. Season Break includes new maps for Operations and Warfare game modes, a new Operator called “Tempest”, movements like swimming and diving, a crossover with mobile RPG Arknights and more. Here is a full breakdown of Delta Force’s upcoming “Break” season.

Operations mode gets “Tide Prison” map The new Delta Force season, “Break”, introduces the “Tide Prison” map to Operations mode. Infiltrate Haavk’s high-tech island prison as a prisoner, figure out a way to get out of your cells, grab your gear and weapons and overpower the guards. The Tide Prison map introduces new movements like swimming and diving. Additionally, you can also spend some time exploring underwater. Be ready for the new boss, “Raven”.

Warfare mode gets “Cyclone” map Cyclone, the upcoming map for Warfare, takes Delta Force players to a big tropical island well-suited for infantry and vehicular operations. The Cyclone map also introduces a dynamic weather system.

New Delta Force Operator: Tempest
Claire Ann-Byers is the new Delta Force Operator “Tempest” who excels at close-quarters combat and deadlocks. Claire is an athlete and an extreme sports enthusiast. An exoskeletal device gives Tempest superior mobility and makes her faster and deadlier. Tempest specialises in using emergency evasion devices and also has a charged drill to disarm enemies.

New weapons and vehicles, Victory Unite improvements
Delta Force’s new season “Break” introduces new weapons and vehicles like assault rifle, compound bow, jet skis and more. The Victory Unite improvements include a real-time command hub and a new call-in support.

Delta Force-Arknights crossover
Delta Force is going to have a crossover with mobile tactical RPG Arknights in the season “Break”. As part of the crossover, Arknights-inspired Operators will be added.
