Cyberpunk 2077 version 2.3 update: New features, vehicles, Photo Mode upgrades, Mac support and more
CD Projekt Red has officially announced Update 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077, set to roll out on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S starting tomorrow. The massive patch not only brings new content and quality-of-life improvements but also expands the game’s reach to Mac systems with Apple silicon for the first time. The update will arrive later on Nintendo Switch 2’s Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, with a specific release date yet to be revealed.
4 New Vehicles + AutoDrive Mode The highlight of Update 2.3 is the introduction of four new vehicles, each tied to side jobs, including the Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru, Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred”, Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa, and Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila. Players can now also enjoy AutoDrive, an autonomous driving feature that takes you to your selected destination—or lets you cruise around Night City in cinematic style using a new camera mode.
Self-driving Delamain Cabs For players who’ve completed the quest Don’t Lose Your Mind, the update unlocks on-demand Delamain self-driving cabs, providing another convenient way to travel the city without lifting a finger.
Photo Mode Gets Major Boost Photo Mode sees a significant overhaul, adding 27 new NPCs to pose with, along with the ability to switch between NPC outfits and V’s wardrobe presets. New stickers, color grading filters, lighting tools, and a Time & Weather tab allow for even greater creativity when capturing Night City’s neon-drenched chaos.
Quality-of-life and Accessibility Numerous improvements have been added to enhance gameplay fluidity. Players now get adaptive prompts for inverted mouse settings and a new toggle option for aiming down sights. The game also introduces the ability to replay the tutorial, an option long requested by players.
Jobs, Gameplay, and Bug Fixes Update 2.3 also brings quest bug fixes, combat balancing, and improvements to item drops and dialogue outcomes in various missions. A fun new addition: you can now tell Johnny Silverhand to go away if he’s bothering you from the passenger seat.
Expanded PC Support On PC, the update brings support for AMD FSR 3.1, Intel XeSS 2.0, and HDR10+ Gaming. The patch also increases max save size and enables multi-monitor cursor movement in Windowed Borderless mode.
Coming to Mac Mac users with Apple silicon can now purchase the game via the Mac App Store or run it through Steam, GOG, or Epic, assuming their device meets the requirements.
