Losing luggage is the worst thing that can happen to anyone during a holiday. However, Lufthansa Group is making it a bit harder for your luggage to just disappear from the baggage belt. If you are flying by any of the above listed airlines, you can now share your device's location data with the airline's baggage tracing service. The process is private and secure, and the sharing happens through the airline’s existing digital channels.

The airline then integrates this location information into its baggage tracking system, which allows it to use digital data from the your AirTag (or other tracker) to help locate lost or delayed baggage more efficiently. Essentially, it's a way to combine Apple's tracking technology with the airline’s own systems for better baggage management.
