Beats has officially unveiled the Powerbeats Pro 2, an upgraded version of its popular wireless earbuds designed for athletes. The new wireless earbuds introduces Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency mode, Adaptive EQ, and Heart Rate Monitoring, along with improvements in sound quality, battery life, and call performance.
Beats Powerbeats Pro 2: Price and availability
The Powerbeats Pro 2 is priced at Rs. 29,900 in India and can be purchased through Apple’s official website. Users get the earbuds, a wireless charging case, five sets of ear tips in different sizes, and a warranty card. However, Apple does not provide a USB-C charging cable or power adapter in the box.
The earbuds are available in four color options: Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple, and Electric Orange.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 features a redesigned earhook for better fit and stability, while its acoustic architecture has been improved to deliver a more balanced sound profile. Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking enhances the listening experience, while Adaptive EQ automatically adjusts sound based on the earbuds’ fit.
For athletes, Heart Rate Monitoring is a key addition. The earbuds use LED optical sensors that pulse over 100 times per second to measure blood flow, providing real-time data during workouts. This data can sync with fitness apps like Nike Run Club, Peloton, Runna, Slopes, and more.
Battery life has also been significantly improved. The Powerbeats Pro 2 offers up to 10 hours of playback per charge, with a total of 45 hours including the charging case. A five-minute Fast Fuel charge provides 90 minutes of playback, and the charging case is now 33% smaller and supports wireless charging.
Call performance has been enhanced with advanced microphones and a voice accelerometer, reducing background noise for clearer conversations. The earbuds also feature Class 1 Bluetooth connectivity for a stable connection and seamless pairing with Apple and Android devices. Apple users benefit from one-touch pairing, hands-free Siri, and Find My integration, while Android users can access features via the Beats app.
