On Steam, Assassin’s Creed Shadows offers exclusive collectable virtual trading cards, badges, emoticons and background images for players. These include the 9 trading cards (based on Naoe, Yasuke, Junjiro and the six recruitable allies), 6 versions of the badges based on the Assassin's Creed Shadows crest (including a foiled version), 5 emoticons (Naoe’s hood, Yasuke’s helmet, a torii gate, a kunai and a katana) and 6 background images for the Steam profile.

You can "earn up to half of the available trading cards simply by playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows; to complete the set, you’ll want to trade with friends and fellow players. Once you’ve earned the full set, you can use the trading cards to craft game badges, emoticons, and backgrounds, which can be displayed on your Steam profile", the developers said in a post on Steam.
