The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 kicked off in Las Vegas. As always, there have been quite a few innovative gadgets on show. We pick six of the ‘coolest’ ones unveiled at CES so far:
LeafyPod For all those who love their plants, LeafyPod is an AI-powered planter. LeafyPod uses AI technology with environmental intuition to ensure that plants get the precise amount of hydration. It also has environmental sensors which can monitor soil moisture, light, temperature, and humidity.
LG Signature Smart Instaview Microwave Featuring a 27-inch Full-HD touchscreen display, this microwave allows you to monitor your cooking in real time. There are built-in speakers and Wi-Fi connectivity. Looks fancy but who really wants a display on their microwave?
Halliday Smart Glasses These smart glasses come with the world's smallest optical module, which gives users a ‘private’ display and ensures there’s no light leakage or rainbow patterns. At just 35g, Halliday says that these smart glasses are lighter than most sunglasses and also feature a retro Wayfarer design.
L'Oreal's Skincare Gadget This innovative device uses advanced sensors and AI to analyse your skin and provide personalized skincare recommendations and treatments.
