Expanding its gaming laptop portfolio, Acer has launched the Nitro V16 laptop in India. The company is claiming the V16 to be their first AI-powered gaming laptop. In terms of features, the laptop includes AMD Ryzen R7 8845HS processors and Nvidia GeForce 4060 series graphics card and a 165Hz display.

The Nitro V 16 features a 16-inch display with a 16:10 WQXGA resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and 100% sRGB color accuracy. It includes 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. The laptop runs on Windows 11 and incorporates the Copilot AI assistant, which provides web-based answers, creativity tools, and collaboration enhancements.
Another key feature is Purified Voice 2.0, an AI-driven tool for noise reduction during gaming and calls. The Acer Quick Panel allows users to manage Purified View and Purified Voice AI settings.
The Nitro V 16 is equipped with a dual-fan cooling system with quad-intake and quad-exhaust vents, designed to maintain optimal performance by managing heat. The NitroSense key enables users to adjust fan speeds and select from modes like Eco, Quiet, Balance, and Performance. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB4 40Gbps.
For audio, the Nitro V 16 supports DTS Ultra Audio for enhanced sound quality and offers a MUX switch for toggling between integrated and discrete GPUs.
