Tennis icon Rafa Nadal announced his retirement on Thursday, declaring the Davis Cup final will be his final outing before drawing curtains on a glorious career. The final will be played in Malaga, Spain next month and Nadal surely would like to make it a memorable one. Nadal, who is a 22-time Grand Slam champion, said injuries forced him to take the decision, although he is very exited to play in the Davis Cup.

Nadal, who we all know is the King of Clay, has been dealing with injuries, which has prevented him from playing a lot of tennis since the last two seasons. Despite this, the 38-year-old retires as the second-most successful men's singles player of all time, behind long-time rival Novak Djokovic.
