Tensions flared after Pakistan A spinner Saad Masood got the crucial wicket of India A batter Naman Dhir and celebrated with a fiery send off during the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 match on Sunday (November 17). Earlier, Pakistan captain Irfan won the toss and decided to field first. India A were sent in to bat at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha. India and Pakistan each won their first games in Group B. India beat the UAE while Pakistan defeated Oman.
In the game versus the UAE, India’s young talent Vaibhav Suryavanshi lit up the sky with his smashing hundred off only 32 balls, thus becoming the joint second-fastest T20 century by an Indian player.
Coming to the first innings, it was a poor batting display from the middle-order of India as they bundled out for just 136 runs against Pakistan.
The Pakistan Shaheens were on top of their game as they teared through the opposition middle and lower order with great composure.
