When India defeated New Zealand in the Champions Trophy final on Sunday at Dubai International Stadium, Rohit Sharma earned his second ICC title, making him the second-most successful Indian skipper.

After defeating South Africa in the 2024 T20 World Cup in Bridgetown, India won their second ICC trophy under Rohit's leadership in less than nine months.

Prior to their third consecutive Champions Trophy final in Dubai on March 9, 2025, India had already advanced to the World Test Championship (WTC) in 2023, the ODI World Cup in 2023, and the T20 World Cup in 2024.
