On‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Saturday (November 15), Ravindra Jadeja once again got into the record books as he became only the fourth player ever to do the double of 4,000 runs and 300 wickets in Test cricket. Jadeja, the No. 1 Test all-rounder, achieved this feat during the first Test against South Africa at Eden Gardens. He also become only the second Indian after Kapil Dev to achieve the feat.

On Day 2 in Kolkata, Jadeja needed just 10 more runs to cross 4,000 runs in his Test career. He did it with his typical calmness and class just before the lunch break, with India still batting to chase South Africa's first-innings total of 159.
