Ravindra Jadeja and Sanju Samson will not be the players to be swapped directly between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) ahead of the 2026 IPL mini-auction. The 2008 IPL champions, Rajasthan, reportedly have asked for an additional player from the side of Chennai as a part of the deal. While the name of the player has not been disclosed yet, one CSK player on the internet has joined Ravindra Jadeja's mysterious social media move by deactivating his social media handle as well.

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on Sunday deactivated his Instagram account which led to the rumour of his trade deal, he played for Rajasthan in the 2008 and 2009 IPL seasons. On the following day, Matheesha Pathirana also shut down his Instagram account which made the fans wonder about the possible scenarios of his future with the franchise.

Along with Ravindra Jadeja, the names of Sam Curran and Matheesha Pathirana have been the topics of discussion for a potential move to Rajasthan. The Indian Express reported that the Royals are extremely interested in Pathirana to be with Jadeja. Nevertheless, it is said that CSK has rejected that proposal and suggested Sam Curran for the trade talks instead.
