Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), a franchise that Virat has been the part off since the inception of Indian Premier League (IPL), defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) in an exciting final held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Virat was seen in tears moments before RCB clinched their maiden IPL glory and emotions were vivid right after the franchise achieved it. His wife and actress Anushka Sharma, who has been the pillar behind Virat, was also present at the venue to celebrate the moment. She joined the celebrations soon after the match was over and the two shared an emotional hug, showcasing what it meant to India's premier batter - who scored 43 off 35 balls in the finale.
