Shah Rukh Khan pens a gratitude note to his team KKR and IPL 2024 champions, says, 'this team is built in no hierarchy but pure respect'

Shah Rukh Khan, the owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), penned a heartfelt note to his team and their fans after their recent success in IPL 2024. In his message, he praised the unity and collaboration within the team, highlighting the essence of teamwork.

Shah Rukh Khan began his note by addressing his team affectionately: "To my boys... my team... my champs... these blessed candles of the night... My Stars... of KKR." He emphasized the importance of working together, stating, "I cannot do a lot of things and you cannot do them all either... but together we manage most of them. That's what @KKRiders stood for. Simply being together."

He credited various individuals for their contributions, saying, "Beyond the ability and guidance of @GautamGambhir... the earnestness of Chandu, the love of @abhisheknayar1 & leadership of @ShreyasIyer15... the dedication of @rtendo27, Bharat Arun @1crowey & @Numb3z... this team is built on no hierarchy just pure respect for collaboration."

Shah Rukh Khan shared an important lesson he learned from Gautam Gambhir (GG): "GG said if you can't support a single vision as a team... you are leading to a division in the team. Each player understood that. Young and old." He explained that winning the trophy was not just about having the best players but about each player being the best for the team: "The Trophy is not a testament of having the best players in the team... but a proof of each player being the best for the team. Boys, you are all made of Star stuff!!"
