IPL Auction 2026: Cameron Green emerges as prime target with 45 players in Rs 2 crore base price; No Glenn Maxwell

IPL auction: Kolkata Knight Riders (Rs 64.3 crore remaining purse) and Chennai Super Kings (Rs 43.4 crore purse) will be the teams in action mostly during the auction.

Big names like Cameron Green, Venkatesh Iyer, Matheesha Pathirana, Liam Livingstone, Ravi Bishnoi and Wanindu Hasaranga are among the 45 players that have listed themselves at the maximum reserve price of Rs 2 crore in the upcoming IPL 2026 mini-auction.

As per ESPNcricinfo, a total of 1,355 players will feature in the long list of players. Monday (November 30) was the deadline for the list. A total of 77 slots remain available in all ten franchises combined. A single team is allowed to keep 25 players. Out of the 77 slots available, 31 are for overseas players.

Once the IPL receives the wishlists of franchises, they will shorten the list and the auction will take place in Abu Dhabi on December 16. December 5 is the deadline for franchises to submit their shortlist.
