The last solar eclipse of 2025 falls on 21 September. It will be a partial eclipse, with the Moon blocking up to 85 percent of the Sun in some areas. The event begins at 10:59 PM IST, peaks at 1:11 AM IST on 22 September, and ends at 3:23 AM IST.

Will India witness the partial solar eclipse?
Unfortunately, the Sun will already be below India’s horizon during this eclipse. Skywatchers across India will miss the spectacle entirely. Other regions, including Europe, Africa and the Americas will also not see it. The event remains visible mainly in the Southern Hemisphere.
