July 6 Aphelion 

On this day, Earth and the Sun will reach their greatest distance from one another in their elliptical orbit, a phenomenon known as aphelion. Aphelion occurs once a year when the Earth is away from the Sun.

Despite there is huge increased distance, there is a very small difference that can be noticed as the solar radiation received by Earth is relatively almost the same as before, and it does not significantly affect our weather patterns.

July 12 Mercury Elongation

During this period, Mercury will reach its greatest eastern elongation from the Sun, an event that will make it visible to stargazers on Earth shortly after sunset. Eastern elongation occurs when Mercury is at its maximum angular distance east of the Sun in the sky.

This positioning allows the planet to stay above the horizon longer after the Sun has set, making it easier to spot. July 21 Buck Moon

In July, the Full Moon, known as the Buck Moon, will grace the night sky with its radiant presence. This particular Full Moon is also referred to as the Thunder Moon, due to the frequent thunderstorms that occur during this month, and the Hay Moon, reflecting the time of hay harvesting.

July 28 & 29 Delta Aquarids Meteor Shower

The meteor shower named Delta Aquarids meteor shower will be taking place on the night of the 28 and the morning of the 29. On both days the meteor shower will be at its peak. This event happens annually from mid-July to mid-August.
