After a 500-year wait, the holy city of Ayodhya will light up with millions of diyas, celebrating Ram Lalla's return to his divine abode, making this Diwali festival in Ayodhya unlike any other.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of this Diwali, describing it as "a once-in-a-lifetime celebration." For the first time, devotees across the country will witness Diwali celebrations at Ayodhya's Ram Temple, a scene deeply symbolic of the triumph of good over evil and the enduring power of faith. With Ayodhya’s 2024 Deepotsav planned for October 30, preparations are underway to illuminate the city with over 28 lakh earthen lamps, turning it into a radiant canvas of devotion and joy.

The festival this year is especially significant as it follows the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol in January, a landmark event symbolizing spiritual fulfillment for millions of devotees. Diwali puja at Ram Mandir will highlight centuries of waiting and the sacrifices made by generations. Thousands of devotees are expected to gather at Ayodhya’s grand Deepotsav 2024, celebrating the homecoming of Lord Ram.
