Lakhs of devotees visit Ramlala at the ground floor of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir daily. However, due to administrative constraints, access to the Ram Darbar on the first floor will be limited to only 800 devotees per day. Unlike the ground floor, which accommodates large crowds, the first floor has space limitations, making crowd control necessary.
Ayodhya Ram Mandir: New Entry Pass System for Darshan
To regulate darshan, a pass system will be implemented. Under this system, only 50 devotees will be allowed entry per hour, ensuring a total of 800 visitors daily. This measure aims to maintain order and provide devotees with a peaceful darshan experience.
The update was shared by Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti, ahead of the second-day meeting of the Ram Mandir Samiti. Mishra also confirmed that the installation of the Ram Darbar will take place in the first 15 days of May during an auspicious period.
Upgradation of the Ram Katha Museum
Mishra also provided insights into the ongoing development of the International Ram Katha Museum. As part of its expansion, 20 new galleries are under construction, adding to the temple’s cultural and historical significance. He assured that all major construction work on the Ram Mandir will be completed by December 2025, except for the auditorium, which will be finalized later.
Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Surya Tilak of Lord Ram
The committee also discussed preparations for the Surya Tilak of Lord Ram, a significant ritual observed on Ram Navami. Last year, a temporary technical setup was used for this sacred tradition. However, with the temple's peak nearing completion, a permanent system is being designed to ensure the Surya Tilak continues seamlessly for the next 20 years. The event will also be broadcast live in India and internationally, allowing devotees worldwide to witness this spiritual moment.
Naming of the Temple Gates
Construction of the four main gates of the Ram Mandir is progressing steadily. On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Tirtha Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai is expected to announce the names of the gates. These gates will be dedicated to great personalities who played a crucial role in the Ram Mandir movement, honoring their contributions to this historic temple.
