Writing on X (formerly Twitter), he said: “No trip to Mumbai is complete without a game of tennis ball cricket.”

While talking to the media, the former British PM praised the Parsee Gymkhana’s rich history and its contributions to cricket. “Great to be with all of you at the Parsee Gymkhana Club at its anniversary celebrations. What an extraordinary achievement. So much history and so much exciting stuff to come,” he said.

The Parsee Gymkhana, established on February 25, 1885, has played a key role in promoting cricket. It was founded by Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy, with industrialist Jamsetjee Tata serving as chairman.
