LIVE: West Bengal most impacted by Cyclone Remal | Kolkata Airport resumes service

Cyclonic Storm Remal, which moved north at 13 kmph over the past six hours, crossed the coasts of Bangladesh and West Bengal. As of 1:30 pm on May 27, it was centred at 21.9°N latitude and 89.2°E longitude, bringing strong winds of 110-120 kmph, with gusts up to 135 kmph. NDRF teams are on ground removing uprooted trees and electric poles after the cyclone made landfall in the coastal areas of Bengal.
