A day before the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Sridhar Vembu and his family visited the city on a pilgrimage. The Zoho founder and CEO said that his mother is an ardent devotee of Lord Ram.

"In Ayodhya with my amma Janaki and my brother Kumar and his wife Anu. Amma is a life-long devotee of Lord Shri Ram. Very blessed to be here. Jai Shri Ram," he wrote in a post on X and shared pictures from the visit.

Apart from Sridhar Vembu, other business leaders who are expected to be present at the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir include Bharti Enterprises Chairperson Sunil Mittal and vice-chairperson of Apollo Hospitals, Preetha Reddy.

The temple in Uttar Pradesh is built on 2.77 acres of disputed land which is acknowledged by the Supreme Court as the birthplace of Lord Ram. Despite the profound significance of the consecration ceremony, both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the temple administration are making appeals to devotees, urging them not to travel to Ayodhya on the specified day due to the anticipated large crowd.

Devotees planning to visit for the darshan of Ram Lalla are advised to consider postponing their visit until after January 26, as the crowd is expected to subside by then, said Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Ram Mandir Trust.
