The complaint that led to Sheikh's arrest was filed by the Legal Hindu Defence, highlighting the risks associated with his content.

The Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested a popular YouTuber, Gulshan Sheikh, known for his dangerous stunts on railway tracks. Sheikh, who operates the YouTube channel 'Gulzar Indian Hacker' with over 235,000 subscribers, regularly posted videos featuring hazardous activities, such as placing stones, bicycles, and cylinders on railway tracks, putting the lives of passengers at risk.

Sheikh was apprehended from his home in Khandrauli, Uttar Pradesh, following a complaint about his activities on railway tracks. The arrest was confirmed by BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla, who referred to Sheikh as a “Rail Jihadi” in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

"Identify these anti nationals who create railway accidents. There have been several instances of sabotage / signals being covered with paper/ deliberate obstacles being put on tracks. Look at Gulzar Sheikh...putting stones, cycles, obstacles on rail tracks. God knows who all and how many such elements are doing it to cause train accidents," Poonawalla had written in a post on X earlier.
