In an interview to CNBC-TV18, ABL Srivastava, director - finance, NHPC says the situation of outstandings has bettered as far as the UP discoms are concerned, though the entire outstanding has not been cleared yet.
NHPC's total outstanding from the UP discoms is nearly Rs 316 crore. He further added that Rajasthan discoms are defaulting on a monir amount of Rs 15 crore and in case of Harayana it is Rs 32 crore.
