Will Starbucks' entry to India shake up coffee retailing? The world's largest coffeehouse, Starbucks, will launch in India in partnership with Tata Global Beverages. The initial investment is about Rs 400 crore and the plan is to roll out 30 to 50 stores in the next 12 months, starting with Mumbai and Delhi. Facebook IPOs makes waves across the world The wait is over. Facebook will go in for an IPO soon and that news has made waves around the world. On February 1st the company filed with the American SEC and finally we have all those details that the social media giant has kept so private for the past few years. The numbers are mind boggling - the company is looking to raise about 5 billion dollars from the public and may end up being valued at between 75-100 billion dollars! Its revenues in 2011 were in the region of USD 3.7 billion and profits USD 1 billion. And no surprises that 83% of those revenues came from advertising.
