ACC results as expected; deal not to impact company: Angel

In an interview to CNBC-TV18 V Srinivasan of Angel Broking speaks on ACC's results for the June quarter. He feels that the Holcim deal will not impact on the company.

V Srinivasan of Angel Broking says that the results from ACC were in line with the brokerage firm's estimates. He feels that the Holcim deal was positive for ACC and it may not have an impact on the company.

A: ACC numbers have come more in line with our estimates. There is some positive on the volume. But overall both, from top line and bottom-line, has come according to estimates. Q: The margins are a little better than expected. Is that going to change your view of the stock? Or will your view be dominated by the merger announcement? A: On the merger, the overall view is that the Holcim restructuring went overall positive for ACC as compared to Ambuja. It should not have much impact on ACC.
