A pulse of the planet: Twitter Revolution

Sometimes a revolution can began suddenly without notice, this one begins on a January afternoon in 2009, when a man name Janis Krums boards the ferry for his commute home for Manhattan. They set out for the short ride across the Hudson river same as always then comes the announcement. US Airways Flight 1549 ditches into the water. Krums ferry is the first to the scene. Smartphone in hand, he captures this image of a miracle on the Hudson, the Krums doesn’t just email it to a friend instead he sends it out to the world on twitter.
