According to government's report, industry will require 347 million skilled workers over 10 years to sustain its growth. But what is industry doing to develop and grow this workforce? Critic say historically they have done precious little aside from token Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) training centers and the like but in the last few years, things seem to be changing specially with the formation of the central government's National Skill Development Mission under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
