'Music has no language': Harsh Goenka on superhit Coke Studio song 'Khalasi'. Composer responds

RPG Chairman Harsh Goenka joined the long list of "Khalasi's" admirers. Despite not understanding the language, Goenka absolutely loved it and shared a post on X to praise the track. His post caught the attention of Achint Thakkar, the song's composer.

“Khalasi”, a song released by Coke Studio Bharat in July 2023 has acquired blockbuster status. The Gujarati track by Aditya Gadhvi and Achint Thakkar furiously started trending recently and was on everyone’s playlists. Either people were humming it or they were making reels on it.

Now, despite not understanding the lyrics, Harsh Goenka absolutely loved it as well. The RPG Chairman also emphasised that music has no language and joined the long list of the track's admirers. He took to X to share a post that read, “This song from #cokestudio has become very popular! I didn't understand the words but then music has no language.”

The post has clocked in over a million views since being shared online. It also triggered hundreds of comments from social media users. “Top notch music,” a user wrote. Another user commented, “I am planning to break it down and post a video on it Goenka ji. The song has a very deep inspirational meaning. Basically, it is about challenging yourself and getting yourself out of your comfort zone...find that challenger within yourself…a very beautiful one.”

Goenka’s post also caught the attention of the song's composer Achint. He retweeted the industrialist’s post and wrote, “Very happy to see that everyone is still enjoying.”

A while ago, the song also received from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi also gave a shoutout to Gadhvi. “Khalasi is topping the charts and Aditya Gadhvi is winning hearts for his music. This video brings back memories from a special interaction.”
