Mumbai man sets Pitbull on 11-year-old, laughs as dog bites crying boy. Viral video

A viral video showing a Mumbai man unleashing his Pitbull on an 11-year-old boy inside an autorickshaw, then laughing as the dog bit the terrified child has sparked widespread outrage. The incident, which occurred on Thursday in Mankhurd area, has led to a police complaint against the dog's owner.

In the video, the child, identified as Humza, was seen sitting inside a parked autorickshaw with the Pitbull sitting beside him. But the boy was visibly scared and his reaction amused the dog owner, identified as 43-year-old Mohammad Sohail Hasan, who was in the front seat. He egged the dog on and reportedly let the situation escalate. Seconds later, the child is heard screaming and crying as the dog leapt and nipped at him, as Hasan laughed. The boy frantically tried to escape the vehicle, but the dog grabbed his clothes and ran after him. Meanwhile, Hasan remained inside the autorickshaw and continued to laugh.

Recounting the terrifying attack to NDTV, Humza said, "The dog bit me. Then, I ran away. He even grabbed my clothes." He further claimed that he pleaded with the dog's owner for help, but the man "kept laughing." Hamza also alleged that no one else came forward to assist him, stating, "They were just filming the attack." The child expressed being "very scared" after the incident.

Based on a complaint filed by Hamza's father, the Mumbai Police registered a case against Mohammad Sohail Hasan on Friday. The complaint stated that Hasan intentionally released his dog on the child, who was playing inside the auto-rickshaw.
