A man in the United Kingdom recently found a fried screw in a bag of chips that he had brought from food outlet KFC, a Metro report said.

25-year-old Callum Feehan brought a meal from a KFC outlet located on  Canterbury Street in Gillingham and after returning home, opened the packet of chips. However, while eating the chips the man found something "rattling" in his mouth and when he took it out, it turned to be a fried screw.

"I bought the meal and came home. I’d literally put a handful of chips in my mouth and I could feel something rattling around in my mouth, and when I pulled it out it was a fried screw. I could have broken a tooth – thankfully I didn’t,"  Feehan said.

Feehan tried to get in touch with someone at KFC on X (formerly Twitter), but did not receive any response for two days. This forced him to threaten the outlet by speaking to the local environment authority to intervene into the issue, which then made KFC look into the matter.
